Petra Syrová

She graduated from the Faculty of Law, Charles University in Prague, and worked in advocacy. Since 2006, she has been coordinating the Safe Routes to School project and other activities aimed at improving conditions for active mobility and environmental education and awareness.  She co-founded the civic portal www.chodcisobe.cz, drawing attention to problems that pedestrians face in the Capital of Prague. Currently, she works as a manager and program manager in Walk the City where she is also involved in fundraising, supervision and advocacy. She is a permanent guest in the Pedestrian and Accessibility Committee of the Prague City Council and a member of the working group for the preparation of the Active Mobility Strategy for Prague.
