Profile

He's educated in Environmental Studies; since 2006 he's been working as a civil servant at several Czech ministries; he also was the Robert Bosch Foundation intern in Germany and a translator for the European Commission in Luxembourg.

Since 2016, as a representative of the Urban Policy Department of the Ministry for Regional Development (MRD), he has been involved in many activities focused on active and urban mobility, including the international project "Partnership for Urban Mobility" (PUM), falling under the "Urban Agenda for the EU" initiative and co-coordinated by the MRD and the German city of Karlsruhe. He is a supporter of active involvement of the Ministry for Regional Development in urban mobility issues, and an advocate of a state administration that is depoliticised, citizen-friendly and responsibly cooperating with cities and municipalities, the academic sector and NGOs.
