Since 2018, she has been an academic at the J. E. Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem, where she coordinates the interdisciplinary research team Transport and Mobility IEEP at the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences. In her scientific and pedagogical work she focuses on social science aspects of sustainable mobility, research on transport behaviour, transport regulation issues, monitoring and evaluation of transport policies and strategic transport planning, including the development of mobility plans.

She contributed to the development of the Czech Methodology for the development of sustainable urban mobility plans (2015) and the Methodology for the evaluation of sustainable urban mobility (2022).  She is the author of a number of monographs and technical articles on sustainable transport.
